Before installing the asphalt we assessed the current surface’s condition. Doing this before hand ensures the longevity of our asphalt. For this case we had to rip and remove the raised tree roots, minor crazed and cracked sections of the existing carpark.
Once we have treated the cracked sections we then supply, lay, compact and waterbind new roadbase. This not only repairs the areas, but also prepares the surface, making suitable for the asphalt process.

We saw cut along pathways to provide a neat tie in of the new asphalt. On the south east corner of the park we realigned the kerbing, allowing the kerb to smoothly transition for a more aesthetic appeal. Using hot asphalt to repair the pot holes.
Lastly the tackcoat was applied, an average of 30mm thickness of 7mm granite hot asphalt to the crossover and carpark leaving the surface durable, smooth and appealing.
